The Certified Anesthetist (CAA or CRNA) at PSA provides anesthesia and sedation care in a single-specialty ambulatory surgery center setting. The role involves preoperative evaluations, intraoperative management, and postoperative assessments, working under the supervision of a physician anesthesiologist. The position offers a stable, predictable schedule with no call, nights, or weekends, and supports work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and sedation under physician supervision.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and assessments.
• Manage anesthesia intraoperatively and monitor patient status.
• Perform postoperative assessments and ensure patient recovery.
• Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care in a single-specialty ASC setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to optimize patient care.

Compensation

• Full-time base salary ranges from $156,000 to $232,000 annually, depending on experience.
• Part-time compensation is $140 per hour, with a minimum of 2 scheduled days per week.
• Compensation includes a W-2 salary plus potential incentives.
• Paid full shift even if released early or if the center is closed.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Anesthesia (CAA) or Nurse Anesthesia (CRNA) from an accredited program.
• Active Georgia state license and certification as CAA or CRNA.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (renewals provided by employer).
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients.
• Background check and Medicare exclusion clearance required.
• Experience working in an outpatient surgical setting preferred.
• Reliable and able to work independently within a team.
