MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, Maine, is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its Walk-in Care team. This role involves providing care for patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. The PA collaborates with other team members and primary care providers within the facility, which is embedded in the primary care office on the Waldo campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries on a walk-in basis.
• Work in a fast-paced environment managing various medical conditions.
• Collaborate with Walk-in Care team members and Primary Care Providers.
• Participate in patient-centered care delivery within the clinic setting.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program.
• Maine PA License and DEA certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant.
• Preferred: ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, walk-in care, or primary care is preferred.
