The Center for Bone & Joint Surgery of the Palm Beaches is seeking a Physician Assistant to support our orthopedic practice across multiple locations. The PA will perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, assist in surgical procedures, and provide patient care and counseling. The role involves collaboration with physicians to deliver comprehensive musculoskeletal care and ensure continuity of treatment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations, assess patient health, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
• Assist physicians with surgical procedures, including applying casts, splints, and stabilizing fractures.
• Monitor patient therapies and provide continuity of care.
• Triage patient calls and evaluate medical problems.
• Counsel patients and families on preventive health measures.
• Document patient information, care plans, and maintain medical records and departmental data.
• Assist with initial and follow-up patient screenings during clinics.
• Order routine laboratory and imaging tests such as MRI, Bone Scan, and CT-Scan.
