This position involves providing anesthesia services in a hospital setting, covering a variety of surgical specialties including general, colorectal, urology, ENT, orthopedics, spine, ophthalmology, cardiology, and gastrointestinal procedures. The role requires working Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
- Manage anesthesia care for pediatric patients over 1 year old, primarily in ENT cases.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia records in an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Provide anesthesia for cases including pacemakers, cardioversions, and spine fusions, excluding neurology and open-heart surgeries.
- Follow hospital protocols and standards for anesthesia practice.
- Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and safety regulations.
Compensation

Shift & Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- Day shift hours, 8 hours per day.
Requirements
- Board certification in anesthesiology or relevant specialty.
- Experience with a variety of surgical anesthesia cases, including ENT, orthopedics, urology, and cardiology.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically paper charting.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3 pm.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Current medical licensure and certification as required by state regulations.
- Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
- Knowledge of pediatric anesthesia for patients over 1 year old.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced surgical environment.
