A locum anesthesiologist assistant position at a surgical center in Florida, providing outpatient anesthesia coverage. The role involves working Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with options for 4- or 5-day workweeks, until a permanent candidate is placed.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia support for outpatient surgical procedures, including total joint replacements, shoulder arthroscopy, and knee arthroscopy.
• Work scheduled shifts Monday through Friday, typically 7 am to 5 pm.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures.
• No on-call duties required.
