This locum APP position in Michigan involves providing advanced practice provider services in a hospital setting, with responsibilities including bedside procedures and assisting with deliveries. The assignment runs from December to June with potential for extension, offering a 7-day on/7-day off schedule and 24-hour call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform bedside procedures such as chest tube placement, central and arterial line insertions, suturing, and assist with bedside tracheostomy and PEG tube placements.
• Manage a low-volume patient caseload, approximately 300-400 deliveries annually.
• Collaborate with a supervising physician to deliver patient care.
• Provide coverage during scheduled 7-day shifts with 24-hour call responsibilities.
• Ensure patient safety and quality care during assigned shifts.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Participate in team communication and handoffs as required.
• Support hospital operations within scope of practice and hospital policies.

Compensation

• Compensation model: Other (1099 tax status).

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in relevant specialty.
