The Physician Assistant will collaborate with the Medical Director to deliver comprehensive occupational health and urgent care services. The role involves coordinating with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to develop and implement clinic strategies, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and standards of care. The position requires leadership, management, and communication skills, with a focus on primary health care for patients aged six months and older.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Medical Director to provide comprehensive health care within an Occupational Health and Urgent Care program.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver primary health care services to designated patient groups.
• Work with administrative staff and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and improve clinic operations.
• Make recommendations regarding staffing, clinic processes, and day-to-day management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of care, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of medical practices, wellness, and disease management principles.
• Provide care to patients aged six months and older.
• Demonstrate leadership and effective communication within the clinical team.
