The Northeast Georgia Physicians Group is seeking an Interventional Pulmonology Advanced Practitioner (AGACNP or PA) to join their Pulmonology team in Gainesville, GA. The role involves hospital-based inpatient consults, procedures, and outpatient clinic responsibilities, working alongside an Interventional Pulmonologist. The position offers a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform hospital-based inpatient consults and outpatient clinic duties in pulmonology.
• Participate in procedural suite activities, including advanced bronchoscopy and pleural procedures.
• Work in tandem with an Interventional Pulmonologist to manage complex pulmonary cases.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in rotating schedules, including some evenings and weekends, as required.
• Support program development, clinical research, and educational initiatives.
• Manage both inpatient and outpatient pulmonary patients independently.
• Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and patient-centered care.

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation (W-2 tax status).

Shift & Schedule

• Variable schedule days and shift timings.
• Participation in rotating schedules, including some evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with acute care certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pulmonary/critical care, thoracic surgery, or interventional specialties preferred; new graduates with strong interest and training in pulmonary medicine considered.
• Strong procedural skills and willingness to be trained in advanced bronchoscopy and pleural procedures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary care.
• Ability to function independently and manage complex patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
