The Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either a Physician Assistant or an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, collaborates with physicians in a hospital inpatient setting to manage patients across all levels of care. The role involves performing invasive procedures, making independent clinical decisions, and working with both stable and critically ill patients under supervision agreements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians in the hospital inpatient setting to provide patient care.
• Perform invasive procedures as authorized and within scope of practice.
• Make independent clinical decisions based on patient assessments.
• Work with stable to critically ill patients across all levels of care.
• Operate within applicable state laws, professional boards, and supervision agreements.
• Promote quality outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Practice in accordance with supervision or care agreements and privileges.
• Work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation (W-2 tax status).

Shift & Schedule

• Variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a relevant healthcare field.
• Current CPR certification (American Red Cross preferred).
• Supervision Agreement (SA) or Standard Care Arrangement (SCA) with a physician.
• Ability to perform invasive procedures and make autonomous clinical decisions.
• Licensure and certification in the state of practice.
• Experience working in a hospital inpatient setting preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable state laws and healthcare regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
