An anesthesia provider position in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, involving general, pediatric, regional, orthopedic, neuro, and some cardiac cases. The role includes supervising CRNAs within a collaborative model, with on-call responsibilities during evening and overnight hours. Travel is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for a variety of cases including general, pediatric, regional blocks, orthopedic, neuro, and some cardiac procedures.
• Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) as part of the anesthesia team.
• Participate in beeper call from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, providing after-hours coverage.
• Collaborate with a team of 6 CRNAs and 3 MDs to deliver anesthesia care.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to clinical protocols during all procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with hospital policies.
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and staff regarding anesthesia plans.
• Travel to the facility as required; travel expenses are provided.

Compensation

• Hourly compensation model.

Requirements

• Current anesthesia license for the state of Wisconsin.
• Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or anesthesiologist.
• Experience with a variety of anesthesia cases including pediatric, regional, orthopedic, neuro, and cardiac is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to participate in variable scheduling and on-call duties.
• Strong communication and clinical skills.
• Comfort with beeper call responsibilities during evening and overnight hours.

• Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain malpractice coverage.
