Physician Assistant Family Practice

This primary care physician role involves providing outpatient care in an FQHC setting within an independent practice supported by a team environment. The position offers a flexible schedule with no weekend coverage, and includes comprehensive benefits and support services to facilitate credentialing, licensing, and relocation.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting.
• Work in an FQHC environment supporting team-based care.
• Maintain patient documentation and manage clinical duties during scheduled hours.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in scheduled workdays, primarily Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with alternating Wednesday shifts.
• Adhere to clinic protocols and standards of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development as needed.
• No weekend coverage required.

Compensation

• Hourly rate between $70.00 and $90.00, based on experience and qualifications.
• Relocation support provided, including coverage of licensing and malpractice costs.
• Compensation is on a 1099 tax basis.

Shift & Schedule

• Work schedule primarily Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
• Alternating Wednesdays with shifts from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
• Variable schedule with approximately 8 hours per day.
• No call responsibilities; weekend coverage not required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of primary care experience.
• Ability to work independently within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills; Spanish language skills beneficial.
• Current medical license and credentialing eligibility.
• Experience working in an FQHC setting preferred.
• Comfortable working in a primary care outpatient environment.
• Strong clinical skills in managing diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work scheduled hours with flexibility for alternating shifts.
• Proficiency in documentation and clinical workflows.
• Willingness to participate in credentialing and licensing processes.
