Medcor is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide occupational health services at a client-based clinic in Horicon, WI. The role involves delivering evidence-based care for work-related injuries, illnesses, and preventive services in an industrial setting, with a focus on patient-centered care and collaboration with onsite medical and operational teams. Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care for injuries, illnesses, and preventive services following evidence-based standards.
  • Collaborate with onsite medical staff, operational teams, and client professionals in health, safety, and environmental practices.
  • Work closely with a Medcor oversight physician and other clinical staff to deliver quality care.
  • Document patient encounters and manage clinical information using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Educate patients on medical conditions, treatment options, and healthy behaviors.
  • Support the client's wellness and preventive health programs.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with team members and client contacts.
  • Treat patients in a timely, professional manner, ensuring high-quality customer service.

Compensation

  • Compensation model is classified as 'Other' with W-2 tax status.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

  • Valid unrestricted Wisconsin licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Current DEA and BLS certifications.
  • DOT certification.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR software.
  • Positive, outgoing personality and collaborative team approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to provide exceptional customer service and work in an on-site clinic environment.
  • Experience in occupational health or work-site clinics is a plus.
