MaineHealth Waldo and Pen Bay Hospital are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join their regional Obstetrics and Gynecology practice full-time. The role involves outpatient clinic work and inpatient call coverage within a collaborative team serving the coastal community.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in a clinic setting.
• Participate in inpatient call coverage as part of the care team.
• Collaborate with a regional team to deliver comprehensive women's health services.
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to hospital and professional standards for midwifery practice.
• Engage in team meetings and continuing education as required.
• Support community health initiatives related to obstetrics and gynecology.
• Manage patient care in accordance with state and professional regulations.

Compensation

• Salary compensation model (W-2 tax status).

Requirements

• BSN/MSN and successful completion of an ACNM-accredited nurse midwifery program.
• Active Maine RN license and APRN-CNM certification by ACNM.
• Current DEA license and BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
• Ability to work variable schedule days and participate in inpatient call coverage.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to providing quality patient-centered care.
• Knowledge of obstetric and gynecologic practices and protocols.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Licensure and certification in good standing.
