VHC Health is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Nocturnist Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight shifts. The role involves working 7:00 pm to 7:00 am every other week within a multispecialty hospital environment, supporting high-quality patient care with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient healthcare services during overnight shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) on a rotating schedule.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions in hospitalized patients.
• Make quick clinical decisions to solve complex medical problems.
• Participate in team-based care planning and implementation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement activities.

Compensation

• $135,000 annually, with a sign-on bonus.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Licensed Physician Assistant by the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
• Minimum of 1 year of hospitalist experience.
