Licking Memorial Health Systems is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide advanced emergency nursing care in our Emergency Department or Urgent Care setting. The role involves assessing patients, developing treatment plans, collaborating with physicians, and ensuring high-quality emergency care within the scope of practice defined by state and professional standards. • Provides high-quality emergency care to patients

• Authenticates findings, reports, and treatment plans in the medical record

Requirements

• Current RN license in Ohio (if applying as a Nurse Practitioner)
• Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution or Physician Assistant certification
• Active Certificate of Authority in Ohio
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by a recognized certifying body
• Demonstrated clinical skills and judgment for emergency care within scope of practice
• High-level interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to maintain professional flexibility and adaptability
• At least 3 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Department preferred
• Maintains ACLS and PALS certifications
• Proficient in operating electronic medical records and office equipment
