The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) will provide comprehensive women's reproductive health services, including prenatal, labor, delivery, postpartum, and gynecological care. This full-time role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital or clinic setting, focusing on patient-centered, holistic care throughout the reproductive lifespan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to women and their newborns.
  • Conduct routine gynecological exams, including Pap smears and breast exams.
  • Offer family planning services and contraceptive counseling.
  • Assist with labor and delivery, including natural and medically assisted births.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal health during and after childbirth.
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Collaborate with OB-GYNs, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients on reproductive health, childbirth preparation, and newborn care.

Compensation

  • Salary range from $130,461 to $176,947 annually, based on experience and certifications.
  • W-2 employment tax status.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in Washington State.
  • Successful completion of an ACNM-accredited nurse-midwifery program.
  • Current active certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board or actively seeking initial certification with intent to obtain it upon first exam eligibility.
  • Clinical experience in obstetrics, gynecology, or women's health.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority.
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Commitment to holistic, patient-centered care and maternal mental health.
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
