A private obstetrics and gynecology practice in Alpharetta, Georgia, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive obstetric care, including office visits, labor and delivery support, and hospital rounding. The role involves collaboration with physicians and nurses, participation in call schedules, and delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with office patient appointments and manage obstetric patients within the scope of midwifery care.
  • Participate in hospital/labor and delivery call schedule and provide support during labor and delivery.
  • Perform antepartum and postpartum hospital rounding.
  • Interpret fetal monitoring and non-stress tests (NSTs).
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure quality obstetric care.

  • Maintain professional standards and contribute positively to the team environment.
  • Support hospital and office protocols for obstetric care.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

  • Current Georgia Advanced Practice RN license and Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license.
  • Graduate of an accredited midwifery program.
  • Experience in obstetrics and labor and delivery preferred; L&D nursing experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in fetal monitoring and NST interpretation.
  • Strong communication and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to accommodate variable schedule and call responsibilities.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
  • Previous experience in a private practice setting is advantageous.
  • Must hold a valid Georgia license for APRN/CNM.
