AmeriWound is seeking Wound Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in Wilmington, OH, to provide wound care services in long-term care facilities. The role involves weekly facility rounds, diagnosis, medical procedures, and collaboration with facility staff, with no evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities as needed.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs during clinical duties.

Compensation

  • Uncapped W-2 earning potential, projected between $175,000 and $195,000 annually for full-time providers.
  • Compensation based on provider availability, documentation, patient encounters, and facilities covered.

Requirements

  • APRNP or PA-C certification with active, unrestricted state medical license.
  • DEA license and valid driver’s license.
  • At least two years of experience as a solo practitioner preferred.
  • Proficiency in EMR documentation with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to build rapport with facility staff and patients.
  • Strong clinical and technical skills relevant to wound care procedures.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to work in a flexible schedule Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and comply with workplace policies.
