The Physician Assistant - Neurology position involves providing comprehensive neurological care in a clinic setting, primarily in Phoenix, Arizona. The role includes patient assessments, management of neurological conditions, and collaboration with neurologists to develop treatment plans. The position offers a full-time schedule with no evenings, weekends, or on-call duties, and supports professional growth through various benefits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Assist in managing new and follow-up patients in the clinic.
• Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide patient education regarding neurological conditions, treatments, and preventative care.
• Support practice growth by ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
• See an average of 20 to 25 patients per day, with flexibility based on patient needs.
• Work primarily in the Phoenix office, with occasional travel to Yuma and Tucson once a month.
• Work independently and alongside neurologists, supported by clinical and administrative staff.

Compensation

• $135,000 – $165,000 yearly base salary, negotiable based on experience

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Work hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with some flexibility
• No evenings, weekends, or holidays
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Arizona Physician Assistant license
• DEA certification
• NCCPA certification
• Full training provided; no prior experience required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Willingness to travel to Yuma and Tucson once a month
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
