We are seeking a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide urgent and emergent medical care to employees and client personnel in Guyana. The role involves patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and collaboration with the medical team, within the scope of licensure and organizational protocols. The position is contingent upon award and requires compliance with all certification and credentialing standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical services in accordance with PA/NP licensure and organizational protocols.
• Assess patients with urgent or emergent health concerns and develop care plans collaboratively.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries following established guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with privacy laws.
• Identify and document physical and mental health symptoms.
• Exercise sound clinical judgment and problem-solving in daily decision-making.
• Prioritize tasks and manage workload independently.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, especially in emergency medical care.

Compensation

• Compensation model is classified as 'Other' with W-2 tax status.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience as a PA or NP.
• Active, unrestricted US State license and ability to meet credentialing requirements.
• Current NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC certification.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. state license with no pending disciplinary actions.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and ATLS certifications (ATLS prior to deployment).
• Familiarity with standard medical practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common office equipment.
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Ability to pass background check and obtain necessary security clearance.
