This part-time Nurse Practitioner position involves providing patient assessments, monitoring treatment, and participating in clinical staffing within a medical facility.   • Write orders for laboratory work and medications under the supervision of the physician.
  • Conduct screening calls with direct backup from the supervising physician.
  • Participate in clinical staffing of patients.
  • Advise patients on medication side effects and proper usage.
  • Document first dose dispensation and medication reconciliation.
  • In life-threatening emergencies without the supervising physician present, initiate appropriate evaluation and treatment.

  • Proof of current malpractice insurance coverage up to $1 million per occurrence.
  • Ability to stand continuously for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Ability to physically assist disoriented or intoxicated patients weighing 140-170 lbs.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and patients, and maintain alertness for safety.
