Envision Healthcare is seeking a Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA) for a full-time position at Jupiter Medical Center in Florida. The role involves providing anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and obstetric cases within a hospital setting. The position offers flexible scheduling, minimal call requirements, and a comprehensive compensation package including a sign-on bonus and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in anesthesia care for a diverse case mix including general, pediatric, obstetric, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, gynecologic, and cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with a team of 12 physicians, 26 CRNAs, and CAAs to deliver anesthesia services.
• Support anesthesia administration for approximately 7,000 surgical cases and 1,200-1,400 deliveries annually.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as directed by supervising physicians.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Contribute to the anesthesia team in a hospital environment with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
• Engage in continuous professional development and CME activities.
• Work flexible shifts, primarily 4-10s, with other scheduling options available.

Compensation

• Annual salary up to $252,000.
• Sign-on bonus of $75,000.
• Additional compensation includes CME allowance.

Requirements
