Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team in providing comprehensive orthopedic care. The role involves working directly with orthopedic surgeons across various specialties, including musculoskeletal oncology, spine, sports medicine, and trauma, to deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthopedic surgeons in surgical procedures and patient care.
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative follow-up evaluations.
• Perform hospital rounding and provide call coverage as needed.
• Evaluate diagnostic tests and assist in clinical decision-making.
• Write prescriptions and manage patient medications.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Contribute to a team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Support the practice's mission of delivering personalized orthopedic care.

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation (W-2 tax status).

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• PA certification and licensure in Nevada.
• Experience with first assist, pre/post-operative care, and diagnostics.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Experience with hospital rounding and call coverage preferred.
• Critical Care or Trauma experience is a plus.
