We are seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist Assistant to join an outpatient surgery center in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. The role offers a predictable schedule with no call requirements, primarily involving bread-and-butter cases in a supportive environment. The position provides competitive compensation, a sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia support for outpatient surgical procedures at an ASC facility.
• Manage anesthesia cases primarily involving bread-and-butter procedures.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care and patient records.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
• Work scheduled shifts from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• No call or weekend work required.

Compensation

• Base salary of $270,000 annually.
• Sign-on bonus of $100,000.
• Relocation assistance up to $12,000.
• W-2 employment tax status.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday through Friday, dayshift hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
• Flexible shift options of 8 or 10 hours per day.
• No call or weekend work required.

Requirements

• Certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice in Michigan.
• Previous experience in outpatient anesthesia settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of anesthesia protocols and patient monitoring.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
