A Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is sought to join a busy urgent care clinic in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The role involves managing common urgent care cases in a fast-paced environment, with support from on-site staff and diagnostic services, including X-ray. The clinic operates daily from 9 AM to 7 PM, and the position offers a full-time schedule averaging 3-4 shifts per week, including one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Manage bread and butter urgent care visits, including minor illnesses and injuries.

Compensation

• Salary commensurate with experience.
• W-2 tax status.

• Variable schedule, averaging 3-4 shifts per week.

• Clinic open daily from 9 AM to 7 PM.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active State of Michigan license or eligibility to apply.
• AHA-approved BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred.
• Successful completion of credentialing process with MyMichigan Health.
