A level II trauma center in Ohio is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage. The role involves full-scope inpatient care, including call responsibilities, at a 300-bed hospital utilizing Meditech EMR. The assignment duration is approximately 2 to 3 weeks per month, with day shifts Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope inpatient cardiothoracic surgical coverage at a 300-bed hospital.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.
• Manage adult patient cases in a trauma center setting.
• Collaborate with support staff and multidisciplinary teams.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards.
• Contribute to patient care planning and follow-up.
• Maintain professional licensure and credentials as required.
