The Advanced Practitioner (Physician Assistant) at St. Luke's Care Anywhere Practice provides healthcare services to patients through virtual and in-person care, primarily during overnight shifts. Under physician supervision, the PA conducts clinical assessments, diagnoses, treats, and manages patient care, including medication prescriptions and care coordination. Responsibilities

• Conduct live and interactive clinical assessments, diagnose, and treat patients via virtual care platform during overnight hours.
• Complete asynchronous visits and respond to patient messages through the portal or Care Anywhere team.
• Respond to scheduled visits escalated from nurse triage and provide appropriate care or escalation as needed.
• Attend to medical and clinical needs of in-house overnight surgical patients and respond to nursing questions or medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians for escalation issues and arrange transfers if necessary.
• Provide after-hours guidance to Concierge Medicine Primary Care patients via dedicated communication channels, documenting interactions and orders.
• Respond to floor calls from hospitalist services, document interactions, and enter orders as appropriate.
• Troubleshoot basic technology issues and communicate effectively with patients through virtual platforms.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Physician Assistant with current licensure in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
• Current NCCPA certification.
