Quilted Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive, evidence-based maternity and gynecologic care in both virtual and outpatient settings. The role involves managing prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and family planning services, with opportunities to influence care models and develop new processes within a team dedicated to improving reproductive health equity and access.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care for clients in virtual and outpatient settings, and support labor and delivery in hospital settings.
  • Deliver gynecologic and family planning services, including contraception counseling, LARC insertion/removal, and miscarriage management.
  • Participate in and develop clinical practice guidelines and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including technology, marketing, and operations, to support clinical care processes.
  • Engage in hospital and organizational meetings focused on quality and perinatal care.
  • Recognize and counsel patients on substance use and domestic violence issues.
  • Coordinate social support services to address social determinants of health impacting patient outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of obstetric and gynecological health issues, trends, and clinical skills such as electronic fetal monitoring.

Compensation

  • Salary range of USD 125,000 to 140,000 per year.
  • Compensation structured as a W-2 salary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNM in hospital or birth center settings.
  • Active Registered Nurse license and ARNP license with prescriptive authority in Washington state.
  • Certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board.
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications.
  • Experience managing care for diverse populations with complex needs.
  • Proficiency in electronic fetal monitoring and contraceptive management.
  • Knowledge of obstetric and gynecological health issues and trends.
  • Successful history of obtaining and maintaining hospital privileges and insurance credentials.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and adapt to evolving clinical practices.
  • Preferred: Ultrasound skills, experience with VBAC, and proficiency in a second language.
