The Cascades East Family Medicine Center in Klamath Falls, Oregon, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary care within a collaborative, team-based environment. The role involves direct patient care, supervision of learners, and participation in scholarly activities, with a focus on serving a diverse rural population and contributing to clinical and academic development.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during eight half-day clinics per week, seeing approximately 8-10 patients per half day depending on complexity.
• Supervise and teach medical students and other learners at the clinic.
• Complete documentation of patient encounters in the electronic health record in accordance with institutional policies.
• Participate in administrative duties and practice development activities.
• Engage in continuing education, professional development, and scholarly activities.
• Collaborate with full- and part-time faculty to maintain an active clinical practice.
• Contribute to the growth and success of the clinic’s clinical and academic missions.
• Maintain availability for teaching and community outreach activities as needed.

Compensation

• Salary range: $116,688 to $174,063, commensurate with experience.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner license for Oregon, with prescriptive privileges and DEA certification, or
• Current Physician Assistant license for Oregon, with prescriptive privileges and DEA certification.
• Experience in primary care or family medicine preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and rotating Saturdays.
