Banner Health is seeking a certified nurse midwife to provide full-scope midwifery care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, family planning, and gynecological services. Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, family planning, and well-patient gynecological services.
• Participate in a shared coverage model with call rotation designed for work-life balance.
• Collaborate with a team of providers committed to evidence-based, physiologic birth and patient-centered care.
• Support and contribute to the growth of a midwifery-led practice within Banner's integrated health system.
• Utilize clinical judgment and midwifery skills to deliver comprehensive care.
• Engage in opportunities to lead, teach, and shape clinical practices.
• Work with supportive OB/Gyn backup and administrative staff to optimize patient care.
• Maintain licensure and stay current with professional development requirements.

Requirements

• AMCB certified Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
• Arizona CNM license or eligibility.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in full-scope midwifery (preferred) or 2 or more years in labor and delivery.
• Comfort with independent practice in outpatient and inpatient settings, including prenatal and gynecological care.
• Ability to work within a shared call rotation and flexible schedule.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to support physiologic birth and patient-centered care.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
