A Level I trauma facility in Eastern Missouri is seeking a cardiac-focused Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) for locum tenens coverage from October 2025 to June 2026. The role involves providing anesthesia services primarily during daytime shifts, with a mix of OR and offsite cases, including IR, Cath Lab, MRI, Endoscopy, and Bronchoscopy, with occasional cardiac cases as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and diagnostic procedures, including offsite cases such as IR, Cath Lab, MRI, Endoscopy, and Bronchoscopy.
- Occasionally cover cardiac cases as required.
- Work scheduled shifts of either four 10-hour days or four 8-hour days during weekdays.
- Supervise and collaborate with the healthcare team during procedures.
- Maintain patient safety and anesthesia standards throughout all cases.
- Adhere to facility policies and protocols, including prescriptive authority requirements.
- Perform duties on-site at the facility location in Missouri.
- Provide anesthesia services under supervision, with no call responsibilities.
Compensation

Shift & Schedule
- Work weekdays (Monday to Friday).
- Day shifts only, with options for four 8-hour or four 10-hour shifts per week.

Requirements
- Current certification as a CRNA or CAA.

- Ability to work independently under supervision.
- Experience with a variety of anesthesia cases, including cardiac procedures (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent clinical skills and patient safety focus.
- Ability to work on-site in Missouri during scheduled shifts.
