Cleveland Clinic is seeking Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAs) for positions at Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. The role involves providing anesthesia support across a variety of surgical specialties in a Level 2 Trauma Center setting. Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of anesthesia across multiple surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, plastics, vascular, cardiothoracic, gastroenterology, obstetrics, and pediatrics.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and MDAs to provide safe and effective anesthesia care.
• Manage anesthesia equipment and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
• Handle occasional weekend call from home, with flexible scheduling options.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on patient safety and quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient records.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and internal CEU opportunities.

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation with supplemental pay options.

Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) or current anesthesia assistant license.
• Graduation from an accredited anesthesia assistant program, or recent graduation/near completion.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including 8, 10, 12, 16, or 24-hour shifts.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties from home.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience or familiarity with a variety of surgical cases is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
