A PRN (as-needed) Dental Assistant is needed from November through June to backfill vacation coverage at a Denton facility. The role involves providing dental assisting services during scheduled days, with shifts typically from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position is for local candidates only and is paid hourly on a 1099 tax basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist dental providers during patient procedures at the Denton facility.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Manage patient records and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide chairside support during dental treatments.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Support administrative tasks as needed.

Compensation

• Hourly pay rate between $141 and $156 per hour.
• Paid on a 1099 independent contractor basis.

Shift & Schedule

• Variable days from November through June.
• Shifts typically from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• No call or on-call duties required.

Requirements

• Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience.
• Local candidates only; must be available for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work variable days and shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Experience with dental assisting procedures and sterilization.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Reliable transportation to the Denton facility.
• Ability to work independently and follow protocols.
