An established Emergency Medicine team in North Carolina is seeking Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join a high-volume emergency department. The role involves working approximately 144 scheduled hours per month across variable shifts, with opportunities for additional shifts. The department handles over 130,000 cases annually, including pediatric emergencies, in a facility with 92 emergency beds and 17 pediatric emergency beds.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a busy emergency department and pediatric emergency department.
• Manage a high patient volume, treating over 130,000 cases per year.
• Work scheduled shifts approximately 12 hours per month, with the possibility of picking up extra shifts.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality emergency care.
