SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a PRN anesthetist (CRNA or CAA) to join their team. The role involves providing medically directed anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases in a 174-bed facility with a diverse case mix. The position offers a flexible schedule with dayshift hours, no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities, and is suitable for candidates of all experience levels, including new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide medically directed anesthesia for surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, ENT, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, urology, and podiatry cases.
• Collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists and anesthetists to ensure safe anesthesia care.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, BLS, and ALS requirements.
• Support the onboarding and training of new graduates and less experienced staff.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Contribute to a collegial and supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nationally accredited CRNA or CAA program.
• Ability to obtain licensure in Wisconsin.
• Current BLS and ALS certification.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience or training in a variety of surgical anesthesia cases preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work dayshift hours with no call, nights, weekends, or holidays.
