Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Medcor is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care services at our employer-based clinic in Richland/Hanford, WA. The role involves delivering high-quality clinical care in a busy construction environment, collaborating with medical and operational teams, and supporting occupational health programs. The position offers a predictable schedule with no weekend or on-call hours, focusing on team-based patient care and workplace health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for occupational injuries, illnesses, and urgent care needs following evidence-based standards.
• Collaborate with on-site medical staff, client health and safety professionals, and operational leadership.
• Document patient encounters and manage clinical information using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Support workplace wellness, surveillance, and regulatory exams.
• Educate patients on medical conditions, treatment options, and healthy behaviors.
• Build and maintain effective team relationships within the clinic and broader organization.
• Participate in client health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
• Assist in managing occupational health and preventative programs.

Compensation

• Hourly pay rate between $75.00 and $80.00, based on experience.
• W-2 employment status with taxes withheld.

Shift & Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Thursday.
• Shifts scheduled between 6am and 8pm, with variable timing.

Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted Washington state medical license.
• Current DEA registration and BLS certification.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive, outgoing personality and collaborative team approach.
• Experience in occupational health or work-site clinics is a plus.
• Willingness to work four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, between 6am and 8pm.
• Ability to work in an on-site clinical environment.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Flexibility for additional hours with advance notice is preferred.
