The Fayetteville Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a certified Anesthesiologist Assistant to provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures. The role involves pre-anesthesia assessments, patient consultations, and managing anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence in a fully equipped, accredited facility. The position offers a Monday through Friday daytime schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays, and includes a comprehensive compensation package.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients
• Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patients' physiological conditions throughout procedures
• Perform clinical interventions as needed during anesthesia care
• Collaborate with anesthesia care team members to ensure patient safety and care quality
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care provided
• Adhere to licensure guidelines and professional standards

Compensation

• $200,000 - $220,000 annual salary
• Sign-on bonus of $30,000 (may include additional incentives such as training assistance or loan repayment)

Shift & Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Day shift with no night, weekend, or holiday shifts
• 8-hour daytime shifts

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
• Compliance with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines
• Current licensure or certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant
• Experience in a surgical or outpatient setting preferred
• Strong understanding of anesthesia procedures and patient monitoring
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team-based care model
