We are seeking Nurse Practitioners to provide health readiness assessments for military service members as independent contractors. The role involves supporting physical health evaluations, reviewing medical histories, and conducting interviews to ensure military personnel meet deployment requirements. Work primarily occurs on weekends, with occasional weekday assignments under the Reserve Health Readiness Program, across various military locations.

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, medical records, and questionnaires.
• Interview service members to assess current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent health or behavioral health issues requiring immediate attention.
• Document interview findings and readiness classifications in the proprietary system.

Compensation

• Compensation is provided through a non-specified model (Other).
• W-2 tax status.
• No loan assistance offered.

Shift & Schedule

• Primarily weekends, with some weekday assignments.
• Schedule is variable and on an 'as needed' basis.
• Work may involve extended hours and travel to remote military installations.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with primary care, urgent care, or occupational health (preferred).
• Experience with mobile medical services (preferred).
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology (preferred).
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with high volumes of service members.
• Availability to work extended hours and travel, including weekends (preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Supervising physician may be required depending on state regulations.
