This Nurse Practitioner position involves providing gynecologic and abortion care at a busy family planning and reproductive health facility. The role includes independent patient care with consultation support, focusing on routine gynecologic services and abortion procedures, including ultrasounds and surgical assistance. The position requires experience in women's health and is scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide gynecologic care including Pap smears, STI screening, and contraceptive counseling.
• Perform abortion care, including dating ultrasounds and medication administration.
• Take patient medical histories and document clinical information.
• Participate in surgical clinic days and assist in operative suites and PACU.
• See patients independently with available consultation from the medical director or nurse manager.
• Work scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Advocate for reproductive rights and patient-centered care.

Compensation

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts license as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in sexual and reproductive health and/or ambulatory surgical settings.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to relate well to patients of diverse backgrounds and ages.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a medical team.
• Passion for reproductive rights and patient advocacy.
• Experience with ultrasound and medication administration preferred.
• Only experienced providers considered; new graduates are not eligible.
