Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA) to join a community-oriented anesthesia team. The role involves providing anesthesia care across a wide variety of case types and patient age groups, with a focus on autonomy within a physician-led team structure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for a variety of case types including general, ENT, orthopedic, neuro, cardiovascular, obstetric, outpatient, and limited cardiac cases.
  • Care for patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Participate in a team-based anesthesia practice with physician supervision.
  • Perform duties related to anesthesia during scheduled cases and procedures.
  • Contribute to clinical education by teaching students, residents, or fellows as part of the medical education philosophy.
  • Provide outreach services as required by the system.
  • Participate in call duties, including every 10th weekend and 12 weekday shifts per 20 weeks, with a combination of in-house and from-home call.
  • Maintain compliance with licensing and credentialing requirements.

Compensation

  • Base salary plus incentives, including sign-on and productivity bonuses.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including call shifts.
