Cleveland Clinic Indian River is seeking Certified Anesthesia Assistants (CAAs) to join our anesthesiology team. The role involves managing a variety of cases, excluding trauma and cardiac procedures, with a commitment of at least 6-8 shifts per month. This is a full-time W-2 position within a collaborative environment dedicated to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage anesthesia cases across various specialties, excluding trauma and cardiac cases.
• Collaborate with CRNAs, MDAs, and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide anesthesia support during scheduled shifts, maintaining high standards of safety and care.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on patient safety and quality care.
• Work a flexible schedule with variable days, approximately 6-8 shifts per month.

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation (W-2 employment).

Requirements

• Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA) certification.
• Previous experience in anesthesia support preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Flexibility to work variable schedules with no call requirements.
