This is a locum CRNA position in Lafayette, Indiana, offering full-time hours with flexible scheduling options. The assignment is suitable for new graduates and involves working in a hospital setting with a variety of cases, including general, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, GI, and cardiac procedures. The role provides competitive pay, travel expenses, and the opportunity for contract extension.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for a variety of cases including general, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, GI, and cardiac procedures.
• Work independently under supervision, with the possibility of working with supervision depending on credentialing status.
• Maintain accurate and timely charting using Epic electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards during anesthesia administration.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Complete credentialing process, which may take 90-120 days, with options for temporary credentialing in 30-60 days.
• Work scheduled Monday through Friday with no call, nights, or weekends required.
• Maintain professional standards and documentation as per facility and regulatory requirements.

Compensation

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Ability to work independently and manage a variety of anesthesia cases.
• Experience or comfort with a broad range of surgical procedures including general, ortho, neuro, ENT, GI, and cardiac cases.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system for charting.
• Availability to complete credentialing within 90-120 days, with possible temporary credentialing options.
