Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP or FNP) to provide integrated medical and psychiatric care at our new facility in Seminole, FL. The role involves conducting assessments, managing treatment plans, supervising medication administration, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals recovering from substance use and mental health disorders. The position offers full-time, part-time, or per-diem schedules, with a focus on patient-centered care and recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and psychiatric evaluations.
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver integrated medical and psychiatric care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans according to policies and guidelines.
• Provide primary care services addressing general health and addiction-related needs.
• Supervise and instruct patients in self-administered medications, including injections, and provide health education.
• Review lab results, determine treatment plans, and refer to specialists as needed.
• Manage pharmacotherapy and other treatments per protocols approved by the Medical Director.
• Diagnose and treat behavioral health issues, and recommend further care or interventions.

Requirements

• Active ARNP license in Florida.
• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution with clinical training in a healthcare specialty.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
