We are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in a hospital setting. The role involves inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including patient assessments, prenatal and postnatal care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, personalized, and evidence-based care. This full-time position is based in Cheshire, CT, with standard weekday hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient obstetrical care, including admissions, management, and discharges.
• Deliver outpatient obstetrical and gynecological services.
• Conduct physical examinations such as Pap smears, breast, abdominal, and pelvic exams.
• Collect and document accurate medical, obstetrical, and gynecological histories.
• Prescribe medications and manage contraceptive options, including device insertion.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in hospital privileges and credentialing processes.

Compensation

• $115,000 – $125,000 yearly salary

Shift & Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour days
• Day shift hours from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with national board certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of CNM clinical experience.
• Eligible for hospital privileges.
• Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in patient documentation and record-keeping.
• Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in obstetrics and gynecology.
• No new graduate applicants; requires prior experience.
• Work authorization in the United States.
