We are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in a hospital setting. The role involves inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including patient assessments, prenatal and postnatal care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, personalized, and evidence-based care. This full-time position is based in Cheshire, CT, with standard weekday hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient obstetrical care, including admissions, management, and discharges.
- Deliver outpatient obstetrical and gynecological services.
- Conduct physical examinations such as Pap smears, breast, abdominal, and pelvic exams.
- Collect and document accurate medical, obstetrical, and gynecological histories.
- Prescribe medications and manage contraceptive options, including device insertion.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in hospital privileges and credentialing processes.
Compensation
- $115,000 – $125,000 yearly salary

Shift & Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour days
- Day shift hours from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with national board certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of CNM clinical experience.
- Eligible for hospital privileges.
- Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in patient documentation and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in obstetrics and gynecology.
- No new graduate applicants; requires prior experience.
- Work authorization in the United States.
