We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a multidisciplinary team in Augusta, Georgia. The role involves working in the operating room, inpatient floors, ICU, and outpatient clinics, with a flexible schedule based on a 4/10s workweek. The provider will share light call responsibilities and work every third weekend. Candidates should have at least two years of APP experience in cardiovascular surgery and EVH proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular surgeries as 1st assist in the OR
• Provide inpatient care on the hospital floor
• Manage patients in the ICU setting
• Conduct outpatient clinic visits
• Participate in a shared call schedule with light call duties
• Work every third weekend
• Perform EVH procedures (preferred)
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams across settings

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of APP experience in cardiovascular surgery
• Proficiency in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)
• Open to PA or NP with RNFA experience and acute care certification
• Ability to work in OR, inpatient, ICU, and outpatient settings
• Strong clinical and surgical skills in cardiovascular care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexible schedule with variable days and hours
• Willingness to participate in shared call and weekend work
• Current licensure and certification as required in Georgia
