An FQHC outside of Providence is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for per diem coverage. The provider must be proficient in treating acute complaints across all ages, perform office procedures, and be fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, or Cape Verde Creole. The role emphasizes community health within a Patient-Centered Medical Home model.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients across the lifespan with acute complaints
• Perform office procedures as needed
• Provide care in an urgent care setting on a per diem basis
• Manage a diverse patient population in a community health environment

Compensation

• Annual salary range of $110,000 to $155,000
• Potential eligibility for government loan repayment
• Compensation is provided on a 1099 tax basis

Requirements

• 2+ years of urgent care experience
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Rhode Island with FNP or PA certification
