An anesthesiologist assistant position with a progressive group in Savannah, Georgia, providing anesthesia services at Candler Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, and outpatient centers. The role involves pre-anesthesia assessments, patient consent, anesthetic management, and monitoring, with shifts primarily Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients.
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients' physiological conditions during procedures.
• Perform clinical interventions as needed during anesthesia care.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and care quality.
• Document anesthesia care and patient responses accurately.
• Participate in on-call rotations and other shift opportunities as assigned.

Compensation

• Base salary ranges from $199,000 to $224,000 for non-call shifts and $225,000 to $248,500 for call shifts.
• Sign-on bonus of $50,000.
• Additional income opportunities include loan repayment and leadership stipends.
• Compensation is structured as a W-2 salary plus incentives.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program.
• Compliance with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines.
• Experience or training in cardiac, general, orthopedic, neuro, GI, vascular, endo, gynecology, or pediatric anesthesia preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, dayshift hours.
• Willingness to participate in call and other shift opportunities.
• Professional licensure and certification as required by state regulations.
