The Nurse Midwife provides comprehensive prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, either independently or as part of a healthcare team. The role may also include well-woman gynecological services. The position requires a master's degree in nursing, certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), and current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
