This is a night shift locum tenens position in a hospital-based surgical ICU/IMC setting, requiring at least two years of ICU experience. The role involves managing over 16 patients per shift, performing critical procedures, and responding to trauma cases. Support and resources are provided, including licensing, malpractice coverage, housing, and travel arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient load of over 16 patients per shift in a surgical ICU/IMC setting.
• Perform critical procedures such as central lines, chest tubes, and intubation.
• Respond to trauma team activations for category 1 cases.
• Collaborate with attending physicians and the trauma team to provide patient care.
• Provide coverage during night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and documentation requirements.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care.

Compensation

• Hourly rate ranging from $80.00 to $115.00, based on experience and qualifications.
• Additional income support such as relocation assistance.
• Compensation is on a 1099 tax basis.
