Highland Medical, a division of Montefiore Nyack Hospital, is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or Midwife to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in Nyack, NY. The role involves office-based practice and in-house hospital coverage with 12- or 24-hour shifts. The midwife will work as an autonomous team member with strong physician support, serving a diverse patient population, and contributing to the growth of the practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic services.
• Participate in office hours and in-house hospital coverage on 12- or 24-hour shifts.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Support and assist in managing a multicultural patient population from Rockland County, NY.
• Engage in team-based coverage, including rotating on-call duties with other midwives.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of the midwifery practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols and standards.
• Provide high-quality, empowering care to patients of all backgrounds.

Compensation

• Hourly rate starting at $63, negotiable based on experience.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Midwifery.
• NYS Midwife license and registration.
• Certification as a Certified Midwife (CM) or Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM).
• BLS and NRP certification.
• Midwifery experience preferred; 2+ years of nursing experience in L&D is desirable, but new graduates are considered.
• Flexibility to rotate on-call coverage with team members.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
